Chef competitions reach climax at culinary championships

This year's Welsh International Culinary Championships reaches its climax tomorrow (Thursday) after four days of competitions a Coleg Llandrillo, Rhos-on-Sea. The final day of the popular championships sees the culmination of the Battle for the Dragon contest between Wales, Austria and Italy and the final of the National Chef of Wales contest.

Junior Chef of Wales finalists face anxious wait for result

Four of Wales’ most talented young chefs face a nervous wait until Thursday to discover who has won the prestigious Junior Chef of Wales title. The quartet spent three hours in the kitchen at the contest final on the first day of the Welsh International Culinary Championships at Coleg Llandrillo, Rhos-on-Sea yesterday (Monday). The winner will be announced at the championships awards evening at Llandudno Bay Hotel on Thursday.
